Upon receipt of your order, the dimensions of your window are transmitted to the workshop, which will take care of cutting your new insert window. The latter is then packaged with the greatest precautions, in order to avoid any risk of breakage. You can read our guarantees and advantages to order from Vitreflam to make sure.
Cutting your insert window
The cutting of your insert glass is computerized, we use digital table cutting technology. Our glass cutting machine is a GFP TS300, manufactured by the Italian brand Bottero, the world leader in all sectors of the glass industry for 50 years.
This high-performance tool offers high and guaranteed quality standards:
- careful and extremely precise cutting
- impeccable edge polishing, allowing easy handling of the glass
Each window is then checked by our teams before being shipped.
The packaging of your glass
Developed over 5 years, to guarantee greater strength and reliability, our packaging system is approved and approved by our carriers. We have worked extensively to improve the packaging and resistance of our shipments.
Our bubble film machine, the SEALEDAIR NEWAIR, offers better cushioning and optimal protection against damage, whatever the shape or weight of your insert window.
A strapping machine then protects the cardboard against any risk of involuntary opening. Your insert glass is therefore in optimal conditions to be delivered without damage thanks to:
- effective edge protection
- wrapped in high performance bubble wrap
- a perfectly airtight cardboard box
Shipping your order
- For a flat window 3 or 4mm thick:
any order placed before midday is fully processed the same day: cutting, packaging and shipping. If you choose the “express transport” option, you will receive your package the next day (excluding Sundays and public holidays). By standard transport, allow between 2 to 3 working days.
- For any other type of glass (not flat or 5mm thick), you will need to allow between 3 and 6 working days.
